Glorious Gardens of Argyll & Bute

Geilston Garden

Visitors to Geilston Garden are always pleasantly surprised by the beauty and diversity of this hidden gem.

Within its 10 acres, Geilston rewards the visitor with a full range of horticultural delights.

Enter the walled garden and our most memorable tree the giant Wellingtonia will stop you in your tracks. The brilliant displays of Azaleas entice you in spring, while in summer, the grand scale of the herbaceous border will not fail to impress.

From here you can wander out into the magical woodland garden complete with a waterfall, bridges over the Geilston burn and mossy paths. The verdant tree canopy is carpeted with an under storey of wood anemones and bluebells in the spring.

Then the kitchen garden awaits with a range fresh produce which will inspire the most discerning culinary expert. Geilston Garden produce is on sale to visitors in season - so you can eat and conserve!

But most important of all, is the private garden appeal of this intimate and tranquil garden. Here at Geilston you will be unhurried and feel at one with the world.
